From September 10th to the 26th the town of Huarte (Navarra region) will convert itself into a key spot for the circulation of things related to the catalogue “Urban Art”. They´ll be getting it all together and showing off everything, while keeping low pro. Everything from the collective expo of work (titled “Al otro lado”) to the exhibition of local and international artists doing public appearances and instruction workshops.
Much thanks to the Navarran governing board for supporting these types of initiatives and congratulations to the the promotor, Javier Landa, for sparking local and national interest in events like this one. At least by the looks of it, it seems it will be offering many wonderful sensations.
The “Al otro lado del muro” (the other side of the wall) expo will take place in the Center of Contemporary Art of Huarte on September 10th and will remain open to the public until the 26th with the participation of SATONE (Munich), BISERAMA (Offenbach), ATEM (Frankfurt), HOMBRE (Manheim), BOND & NEAT CARTOON (Leipzig), DEN (Bilbao), CORTE (Huarte), NESH, SYE, PIN, STAR, JEAS, KAY, and AKER (Pamplona), SAWE, FONER, NEWNOW ADVENTURES and ESTE (Barcelona), BRAZO DE HIERRO, KURU y MALAKKAI (Gerona).
The graffiti exhibition will start September 9th and end on the 12th . 40 various writers from the crews SUK, CW, DBR, GFM, APG, PW, M1P or FDS will do about seven murals that will total over 1500ft.
PIN, SACKA (DBR crew) and Javier Landa will host the graffiti and mural workshops that start on the 3rd of September and end on the 4th.
